Advanced Psychological First Aid Course 

This comprehensive four-day course equips participants with essential skills for providing immediate psychological support during crises. You'll gain experience and actionable strategies to support yourself and others in crisis, ensuring a meaningful impact when it's needed most.

 

A wide range of professionals have found significant value in the tools and techniques offered. We particularly recommend first responders, mental health professionals, educators, and other frontline workers participate, ensuring they are well-prepared to manage the psychosocial aspects of their roles.

 

Upon completing all 16-hours, participants will gain access to our alum community, designed to support the ongoing retention and application of the material.

  • Understand the impact of psychological trauma during common and uncommon critical incidents on patients, families, bystanders, and first responders.

  • Understand how Psychological First Aid, when skillfully given, can change the way crisis survivors experience highly traumatic events.

  • Learn to observe, triage, and intervene during dynamic critical incidents in complex, tragic environments and situations.
