In this 2-hour workshop, Avi Tenenbaum will share key lessons from his background in emergency management, human resilience and his experience running a security unit in Israel. The workshop will explore practical themes that communities can apply to their unique circumstances to build psychological resilience and physical safety during scary times.
Through a series of real-life stories and lessons, Avi will empower your community to create a grassroots movement focused on preparation, communication, and inspiration, offering practical tools that extend beyond psychological support into multiple practical layers of resilience and preparedness. The ultimate goal is for your community to not only survive but thrive during uncertain times. With a strong practical foundation in safety, mental wellness can flourish.
This course is designed for communities that want to enhance their preparedness, resilience, and safety through practical tools and strategies, empowering them to respond to emergencies and challenges effectively. It is tailored for Jewish community centres, synagogues, security units, first responder organizations, schools and educational institutions, nonprofit and charitable organizations, youth groups and camps, community advocacy and support groups, and retirement homes and assisted living facilities.
